This program is designed for people who already have a university degree or diploma who wish to join the exciting international hospitality industry. The program is delivered entirely in English. Students are exposed to operational management and strategic issues that hospitality managers face today in order to provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge to make informed decisions.
Subject content within the academic semester consists of hospitality and business management theory. Integrated into the program is the operational management training in traditional Swiss culinary arts, as well as food and beverage, for which Les Roches Marbella is well-known.
The objective of the 1-Year Postgraduate Diploma Program is to offer candidates that hold a degree in a different field the opportunity to acquire and practice the knowledge and managerial skills necessary to successfully enter the hospitality and tourism industry. Employers particularly appreciate the varied backgrounds of post-graduate students because they bring experience, culture and diversity to an industry that thrives on creativity and professionalism.

Our counselors have extensive knowledge of the hospitality sector which will help you to find the best career options to reach your goals.
During the semester that precedes an internship, each student receives full support in their internship, management training or job search at Les Roches. From company recruitment visits on campus, to our list of offers that is updated daily, you will have a full range of opportunities to enhance your career path within the international hospitality industry.
We also give students professional guidance and support in recruitment aspects, such as:
- CV writing;
- Interview and presentation skills;
- Job/Internship market research (industry job portal, social networking via Lindekin and Facebook;
- Contract writing and salary expectations.
The CDIP office maintains a strong relationship with the industry, which is the core of our expertise and success. Over 25 companies are invited on campus to recruit their future leaders each semester. Furthermore, leading companies such as Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Hyatt, Six Senses, Fairmont, Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-La, Accor, and Louis Vuitton return to us every year.
We are constantly growing our portfolio with new hospitality companies to ensure that students will get the largest range and opportunities in the industry. Since the hospitality industry is comprised of more than just 5 star hotels and international hotel companies, we also cultivate relationships with establishments in other branches like Events, Travel, and Luxury FMCG.

Semesters Overview:
This is a postgraduate intensive course delivered in English and aimed at graduates. Throughout an entire year, the student specializes in the Business Management of the Hospitality Industry, completing the theoretical preparation in addition to receiving intensive lectures in practical classes, with a 20-24 weeks in-training period in a Spanish or international hospitality establishment.
The program is delivered in English and consists of an intensive academic semester at the school followed by a 5 – 6 month industry internship. Subject content within the academic semester consists of hospitality and business management theory. Subjects include Hospitality Marketing, Rooms Division Operations and Management, Hospitality Accounting and Financial Management, Information Technology, Advanced Culinary Concepts, Beverage, Bar and Wine Service, and Events Management. Faculty is comprised of international hotel and restaurant professionals, and professors with hospitality and university backgrounds.

Must hold a Bachelor Degree (laurea triennale o magistrale) or have 3 years of documented work experience. Non degree holders will receive a Professional Development Diploma. English level B2, please enclose one of the following: Cambridge First Certificate C; I.E.L.T.S. 5.0 in listening, reading, writing, speaking; Toefl IBT 61 points.
